The vegan-vegetarian summer fair was a huge success. Besides a small disruption by an activist protesting against a booth partly supported by a religious sect, everything went exceptionally well. Thanks to all those who have participated, especially to the presenting artists, Conny, Jörg, Kati, and all busy bees behind the scenery.

Call it long days and short nights. I am currently helping my student finalizing his bachelor thesis as deadline is quickly approaching. We discuss, we even fight, and we work extensively long in these days. He already told me that he wishes to become a gardener instead of studying physics, but I keep him going and I keep him smiling. I think he likes my amusing fashion to explain and to clarify. Teaching is fun. Somehow, it is like creating gravitational ripples within the spacetime. For sure, someday he will be there to help the next generation of students.
